I met this client at the International Home & Garden Show at the “Ask a Decorator” booth. I was able to assist her through every step of her project including:
- preparing her existing home for the real estate market;
- selecting finishes for her new townhouse from builder’s samples and;
- planning and purchase of furniture, draperies, bedcover, carpet, and lighting.
Design Features
An existing Oriental carpet was the starting point for the living room colour scheme.
The rust-red faux silk draperies really bring this room to life, while complementing the cherry-stained floor and fireplace. Sun shades provide privacy and filter the western sun.
The Oriental theme continues in the master bedroom with the contemporary Asian bedroom furniture, black silk, dragon-patterned bedcover and beige/gold faux silk draperies. |
