The initial scope of work for this model home included selecting kitchen and bathroom tiles, countertops, and paint colours; then later, furnishing and accessorizing the family room, kitchen, master bedroom and ensuite bathroom (and partial living/dining room). This included furniture layout plans, sourcing and purchase of furnishings, custom window coverings, lamps and accessories.
Design Features
This spectacular family room and kitchen features dramatic dark wood cabinetry and 9 ft. ceilings. The warm wood floor, open curved wrought iron staircase and large bay window make the family room bright, spacious and inviting. The furnishings are mostly contemporary, with the exception of a traditional wool area carpet and rolled-arm leather chair.
The high-contrast kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and bowed island with contemporary faux suede, upholstered bar stools.
The master bedroom feels like a chic hotel retreat with dark-stained, solid wood furniture that continues the look of the cabinetry in the kitchen and family room.
The luxurious ensuite spa features a polished marble countertop with his and hers undermount sinks, glass-enclosed shower (not shown), whirlpool tub and two-way gas fireplace.
