Since moving into this house 4 years ago, these clients decided it was time to turn their attention to the Master Bedroom. At the top of their list of requirements was more clothes storage and new hardwood floors.
Design Features
The design concept provided 17 linear feet of clothes storage plus a fully functional walk-in closet. The sleek contemporary sliding closet doors are made of dark Brazilian walnut veneer, white back-painted glass, and anodized aluminum trim. The white oak prefinished hardwood floor complements the warm cherry tone of the furniture.
As shown on the before and after plans, construction included door removal and a new passage to the walk-in closet that was opened up to the ceiling.
My clients love their new bedroom getaway which is the perfect mix of warm woods, soothing blue and neutral colour scheme, and traditional elements enlivened with contemporary ones.
