Sharyn Kastelic, Certified Interior Decorator, received the Second Place Award in the Renovation category at the annual Canadian Decorators’ Association Awards and Annual General Meeting event on April 20, 2009. This year the event took place at the Vaughan Estates on Bayview Avenue, Toronto.
There is a first and second place winner for each of the five Design Award categories: renovation, new construction, decorating projects under $25,000, decorating projects over $25,000 and best student project. It was noted that there were 300% more award entries this year over last year. CDECA’s membership has grown to over 500 members nation wide.
